Hi, I'm Ty.
I became a doula after seeing firsthand how deeply families need meaningful support during pregnancy and birth. I knew I didn't want to simply recognize the gaps in care — I wanted to be part of changing them.
That passion eventually led me deeper into birth work, and today I am continuing my education as a midwifery student.

Birth work became more than a calling.
I became a doula because I personally saw how much families needed support. I saw the importance of having someone there who could listen, educate, encourage, and help families feel less alone during such a life-changing experience.
I wanted to be part of that change.
Eventually, I decided to take that commitment even further. I began my journey toward becoming a midwife so I could continue learning, continue growing, and ultimately have an even greater impact on the families I serve.
Today, I proudly serve families as a doula while continuing my education as a midwifery student.
I want you to feel like you were in control of your birth.
My role isn't to make decisions for you. My role is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident enough to participate fully in decisions about your own body and care.
“I felt heard. I felt supported. I understood my choices. I felt like I was in control of my birth.”
Calm support. Informed choices. A voice that matters.
Heard
I want you to feel comfortable expressing what you want, asking questions, and voicing concerns about your care.
Informed
I provide evidence-informed education and stay current with evolving information in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Supported
My presence is calm, nurturing, and focused on helping you feel supported rather than judged or pressured.
Empowered
I want you to remember that you know your body better than anyone else in the room.
Because this is truly what I love to do.
Supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum is more than a service to me. It's work that I genuinely care about, and I want that care to come through in every interaction.
From the way I listen, to the way I educate, encourage, advocate, and simply show up — everything I do is with love.
That's With Love Midwifery.
“I'm building toward the kind of care I want families to have access to.”
My journey into midwifery is an extension of the same commitment that led me to doula work.
Continuing to learn so I can continue to serve.
As a midwifery student, I am continuing to grow my knowledge, skills, and experience so that one day I can support families in an even deeper way.
My hope is to eventually provide midwifery care for families who desire home birth and want the opportunity to experience birth in a setting that feels personal, respected, and centered around their family.
Above all, I want to provide unconditional support while honoring each family's choices, values, and vision for birth.
For now, the services I provide independently through With Love Midwifery are doula services while I continue my education and training as a student midwife.
Professional support that still feels human.
Evidence-informed care
I am committed to continuing my education and staying current with new information and evolving evidence in pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, and maternal care.
Calm & nurturing support
Birth can feel intense. I bring a steady, compassionate presence to help you feel grounded throughout the experience.
Respect for your choices
Your birth is not about what I would choose. It's about helping you understand your options and supporting the decisions that are right for you.
Advocacy without taking over
I help you find your voice, ask questions, communicate your wishes, and stay involved in conversations about your care.
And yes — we can laugh, too.
Birth is serious work, but sometimes a little humor is exactly what helps you breathe, reset, relax, and keep going.
Calm. Nurturing. Knowledgeable. And definitely human.
My personality is naturally calm and nurturing, but I also have a great sense of humor. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself around me.
Birth support doesn't have to feel stiff or clinical. There can be education, advocacy, encouragement, quiet, conversation, and even laughter — whatever the moment calls for.
